In a sea of "content" awash with postcards from cultural tourists, we're not content to merely reflect upon the surface. I partnered with Nike & Foot Locker to spotlight the essence, dig deeper, tapping directly into the source and energy that spawned a current of electricity that lights popular culture to this day — Hip-Hop and the visual auteur, Spike Lee. In line with the collection, this was not a reproduction but rather a 1:1 homage in direct lineage to his vision, frames, cuts and cues. Vivid and visceral — making the past matter in the present.
